URBN - Anthropologie
PR & Communications Intern

My Experience
Over the 2025 summer, I completed a 10-week internship program with URBN as the PR & Communications Intern for Anthropologie. The role provided me with an inside look at the fast-paced, collaborative nature of public relations within a global lifestyle brand.
During my time on the team, I gained hands-on experience in the world of public relations and communications, including:
-
Monitoring and analyzing media coverage using Muck Rack
-
Maintaining press lists and editor relationships
-
Preparing draft materials and creating lookbooks
-
Coordinating product send-outs and media gifting
-
Supporting crisis media vetting
Beyond my position, I also had exposure to cross-functional teams in Impact & Sustainability, Events, and Brand Marketing, which broadened my understanding of how communications intersects with other areas of the brand.
This internship pushed me to grow both personally and professionally. I learned that relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and I left Philadelphia not only with sharper skills, but with a deeper appreciation for how collaboration and storytelling can shape a brand’s identity and connect with people in meaningful ways.
