Growing up, I've consistently maintained a positive perspective on life, particularly during challenging times in our world. Being from Walcott, Iowa, a small town where community aspect is everything, I value the importance of genuine conversations and connections. I am the middle of three girls and consider myself the total "girly girl." I've always loved speaking to new people in my town and, in return, hearing about their stories and lives. I like to think this is what sparked my interest and passion for public relations.

 

Throughout my life, I’ve sought opportunities to get involved, balancing my love for collaboration with a healthy dose of competitiveness. Whether it’s writing for the school newspaper or joining new clubs, I’m always eager to try new things. During my time at Iowa State, I was an active member of Chi Omega, a part of The Fashion Show, a director of a student-run and operated business, and so much more. As much as I love being with others, my ideal day would be sitting at a coffee shop organizing my calendar while listening to a podcast.
